MASTER PRINTMAKING PROJECTS
I work with artists to bring forth their idea in print. Working within the framework of an artist’s unique style, I facilitate the technical support. Working closely with the artist we will experiment with various techniques and processes to find the best avenue for the interpretation of their aesthetic. This experimental process allows for discoveries, generates new ideas, and gives excitement to the process. Once the print is fully realized and it is ready to edition, the master print or “bon a’ tirer” (good to pull) is followed and the edition is pulled without the artist.
If an artist is interested only in unique prints, such as monotype or collage or variations on a woodcut, that is also a one-on-one collaborative journey. You stay on the right side of the brain and I do the linear, methodical thinking.
