EXPO CHICAGO
April 9th - April 12th, 2026
Booth 302

Japanese bamboo sculpture does not simply inherit tradition. It extends it. The artists presented by TAI Modern at EXPO CHICAGO 2026 demonstrate how a discipline rooted in centuries of material mastery continues to produce work of formal complexity and contemporary relevance. In dialogue with the bamboo works are large-scale paintings by Jennifer Lynch. A master printer by training, Lynch brings the rigor of printmaking — it's precision, layering, and material intelligence — into expansive painted works.
SPECTRA
April 5th - May 13th, 2023
Richard Levy Gallery
Albuquerque, NM
Spectra comprises otherworldly compositions that examine both the macrocosm and the microcosm. Lynch’s paintings are inspired by networks found in nature, from the nervous system to crystalline structures. In each piece, the artist re configures compositions from previous works while playing with scale to present new perspectives. The artist paints using printing inks as the medium which are applied with stencils, masks and rollers. The titles of her paintings are names of asteroids and Latin names of wildflowers.
